Troop 17 was chartered in 1960, and we welcome boys who are 11 years old about to enter 6th grade  up to 18 years old.  You don't need to have been a Cub Scout to become a Boy Scout.

          Troop 17 meets weekly on Tuesday evenings at the First Baptist Church of Southington from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM, from September till June when there is school.  We have an active Troop with camping throughout the year, participation in the Apple Harvest and the annual food drive.
